The Senco PC1195 Mini Palm Nailer is billed as a lightweight palm nailer. In fact, the nailer is 50 per cent lighter than the average palm nailer and at only 1.1lbs, that’s a conservative estimate. Although it is light in weight it is still capable of driving in nails from 2 to 3 ½ inches in length. Used for nailing in tight situations when fixing joist hangers, roofing or with fencing or decking situations. With the smaller of the palm nailers you might expect to feel a lot of vibration during operation but there is very little noticeable vibration with this model for its size.

Remember, the mini palm nailer is not the tool to use when there is a lot of nailing to be done. As a small nailer it is going to require quite a few hammer strikes to complete each nail and so it would simply not be worth the time or effort exerted to use the Senco PC1195 in place of a full sized palm nailer. This is a tool for particularly tight nail positions.

Ther have been some mixed reactions to the Senco PC0781 palm nailer with a few professionals who have used Senco nailers in the past a little disappointed with the quality of the nailing produced by this tool.

The Senco PC0781 is capable of driving 8d – 16d nails although there have been reports that the 12d and 16d casing nails have a tendency for getting jammed in the nailer.
